The most fun I've had creating on the web in 20 years
Imagine having your own web developer on call 24/7: always awake, always creative, always ready with suggestions, and ready to put your ideas on the web in minutes.
It also codes better and faster than I ever did, and it never complains when I want to change something.
Want it to build several different examples and put them online so you can test them? No problem. Want it to keep a detailed log of what you asked for and all the changes it made? Already done. Have an idea for a blog post but not enough time to finish it, polish it, or gather the facts? It can help with that too.
You do not even have to sit at the keyboard. You can send a message from your phone and let the workflow take over.
That is the fun I have been having over the last couple of days. I send a message to Scout from Teams, Scout updates the site, Git tracks the change, GitHub Pages publishes it, and a few moments later I can proof the page on the web.
It is actually hard to stop.
I truly am having fun with this setup.
P.S. I updated this post to include the screenshots below, which I saved to my OneDrive from my phone to show how this is done. The update itself was also requested through a Teams message, which feels like the point: the phone, Teams, OneDrive, Scout, Git, and GitHub Pages all become part of one lightweight publishing flow.
